2. What types of dance can be listed on my profile?
Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary. Pointe work history is also a category. In addition, dancers can list an “other” type of dance when they build their profile.
3. Are the profiles secure?
Profiles which dancers create can only be viewed by the email link sent by the dancer (yes, the profile weblink can be forwarded). Employees of Profile Planet cannot view the Profiles, but they do have access to thumbnails.
4. If I use a Promo code will I be billed?
No. If you are using a Promo code, you will not be billed. If the dancer decides to use their profile after 90 days, they can opt to pay a monthly or annual fee.
5. If I create a profile and the 90 days free runs out, does the profile disappear?
No, your profile will remain on the server. A student can access and edit their profile for life, but the profile is not shareable until the fee is paid.
6. How many photos can I upload?
5 photos at 20mb max (per photo)

8. How are videos shared?
Videos links (YouTube or Vimeo) are pasted into their profile builder. The user clicks the link and a new window opens.
9. How are the profiles stored when the dancer shares it with a company or program?
The Company will receive an email with a link to the dancer’s profile. That email will remain in the Company’s inbox until it is deleted. It can be forwarded, it can be kept, it can be deleted.
10. How will I know if my profile has been viewed by the Company?
The only way to know if a profile has been received and viewed is by confirming that with the Company.
11. I’m using a free coupon code. When do I enter the code?
You can build your virtual profile without paying. But when you try to share the profile you will be given an announcement that the payment has to be received before it can be shared.
12. Are there other features Profile Planet offers?
Yes, Profile Planet has free resources for dancers that include a personnel section of Photographers, Videographers, Choreographers, and Coaches.
